Heelwork to Music
Hazel and Bramble have been doing heelwork to music for years, but haven't done much competing in the sport. However, Bramble did qualify for Crufts in 2014 in YKC Freestyle to Music and won 1st place in her class, which was absolutely crazy!
The girls have done many talent competitions, though, where they have done 'Dog Dancing', which is similar to freestyle to music, but both dogs can compete together (where HTM is for one dog, only).
Both dogs have competed in dog dancing at Crufts, Discover Dogs and the London Pet show in the main arenas and it always gathers up a massive crowd!
Dog dancing consists of many moves such as leg-weaving, walking backwards and jumping to music, and you need a fantastic bond with your dog to do it. Training your dog to a high level takes months of hard work, but when you are in the ring performing with your best friend it makes all of the training worthwhile!
